February 22, 2008, Newsletter Issue #53: How to Repair Vacuum Hoses

Tip of the Week

Have you ever had a hole in your drinking straw and found it hard to sip your beverage? The same suction problem can happen with a vacuum hose. Occasionally, a hole in a hose will cause a vacuum to lose suction. To repair vacuum hoses with small slits, a piece of tape may be all that is needed to put things back in working order. Large cracks or punctures will require the hose to be replaced, which is a very simple repair.
