March 7, 2008, Newsletter Issue #55: A New Cord from the Vacuum Repair Service

Tip of the Week

Along with hitting the wall with the vacuum, we've all done it: run over the vacuum cord while cleaning the house. It is not uncommon to run over the cord during a vacuuming session, but when this happens you must immediately turn off the power, unplug the vacuum from the wall and inspect the cord. A small nick can be wrapped in electrical tape. A frayed cord that shows its insides needs to be replaced before the vacuum can be used again. A vacuum repair service will be able to do this easily.
